Ten year old Deepika Sharma narrates the story of how her family changed after gaining access to water and sanitation in her household. She says, “The new toilet is very easy to use and even easier to maintain.”

She shares that access to water and sanitation facilities in the house has helped her parents focus on their grocery shop. “My mother gets up in the morning and cooks food and goes to the shop. My father goes to the market. Both of them return in the evening. When water comes, it gets filled in our tanks. Hence, my parents no longer have to wait for water,” she says.
