Should poor children die to prevent over-population?

January 29, 2014

Some people believe that we should let poor children die to keep them from overpopulating the world.

Here is why they are wrong - http://b-gat.es/1n9FYOY
“Countries with the most deaths have among the fastest-growing populations in the world. This is because the women in these countries tend to have the most births, too. Scholars debate the precise reasons why, but the correlation between child death and birth rates is strong.” - Melinda Gates.

The correlation between poverty and birth rates is also strong due. Bringing countries out of poverty, empowering families to make decisions about family planning, and allowing them to build an economically sound future is the best way to inhibit over-population.

We hope to be a part of the puzzle by allowing people the chance to survive in the first place so they can work towards these dreams.
